A fifth of dementia cases may be caused by air pollution, study suggests

Research conducted by Professor Caleb Finch of the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at USC and his colleagues found that for older women, the risk of developing dementia significantly increases with exposure to high levels of polluted air particles from sources such as power plants and motor vehicles.
